Design-Build

Comtek routinely offers design-build manufacturing services for complicated, three-dimensional composite parts and assemblies. Our integrated product development teams work closely with the customer in a concurrent engineering environment to quickly deliver new components that have been designed, developed, substantiated and certified to the latest specifications. Parts are delivered ready for installation, and full product, technical and spares support is provided for as long as the item is in service.

Some past examples of design-build projects include:

• The carbon composite vehicle structure for the CL-327 Guardian unmanned aerial vehicle for Bombardier Aerospace (pictured lower right) - prototype delivery was six months after go-ahead;
• The AS900 flight test nacelle for Honeywell Engines and Systems - delivered in nine months from go-ahead.
