Floor Systems
Comtek is the world's leading supplier of floor panels to Regional and Business markets. We support aircraft programs with point-of-use supply and also manufacture a line of aftermarket floor panels for all Regional aircraft.
Avionics Racks
Comtek designs, certifies and manufactures avionics racks for application in the business jet market. Using advanced insert and panel technologies, we develop innovative solutions for reduced weight and enhanced conductivity.
Our panel solutions are firmly established across Regional and Business Jet Markets
Comtek began supplying aftermarket floor panels for Dash-8 aircraft in 1995. Over the following two years of continuous innovation, Comtek was recognized by Bombardier, leading the company to be selected by Bombardier as the design-build supplier for the Q400. In the years to come, Comtek would also become the OEM supplier for Challenger 650, and CRJ 700, 900 & 1000 floors. All of these contracts are Design-to-build or “Assisted” Design-to-build and extend for life-of-program.
Comtek also developed aftermarket floor panels for all other main regional aircraft as a means to better support its customers with multiple aircraft fleets. The aftermarket product portfolio includes upgraded floor panels with enhanced durability for high traffic and cargo areas.
In 2013, Comtek was awarded the Global 7000/8000 contract, which also included design and manufacture of avionic racks. Shortly after, Comtek won the work transfer on Global 5000/6000 floors and avionics racks and delivered on the high-rate work transfer with a seamless transition from the incumbent supplier.
