Comtek provides rapid, cost-effective duct repairs for low pressure air ducts and high pressure ducting, including bleed air ducts, manifolds, and ram air ducts.
We have engineered upgrades that improve the service life of certain duct components. We also develop solutions that ease re-installation on tight fit segments, with adjustable sleeves and detachable segments.

Comtek's CRJ200 Ram Air Duct repair incorporates glass plies into the design that reduce moisture ingression; a common cause of failure. These plies extend the expected life of the part, acting as a sacrificial barrier that also makes future repairs less complicated.

Repair for P/N X8905-3
Original plastic tubes and strings are upgraded to stainless steel tubes and lock wire. The outer shell is secured with fiberglass and resin. Post FAR insulation material is applied to the outer shell upon completion of the repair, meaning the insulation material is most current due to flammability testing.
