Comtek has been repairing composite leading edges for decades with expertise to provide highly durable, long lasting alternative to replacement.
Our repair procedure includes an in-depth inspection to identify all moisture ingression and physically impacted areas. We have capabilities to handle all damage ranges from minor damage to the outer skin layer to major repairs including puncture damage through inner skin plies.
All repairs of composite leading edges are completed with an application of a sacrificial ply to the surface that has been proven to increase durability and service life on the part.
