Comtek is now offering Cargo Panels for the E-Jet family of airplanes. The new panels add to Comtek’s existing portfolio of floor part numbers on the E-Jet, building upon our upgrade panels for passenger areas, which offer improved stiffness, strength, and dent resistance over OEM-supplied panels.

Our new cargo panels are constructed with premium heavy duty cores and an asymmetrical skin design with additional plies to produce stiff, durable, and high quality panels. Each skin is designed to carry added loads caused by bending, such as when walked on or loaded with cargo. Top skins are thicker than bottom skins to provide enhanced durability and dent resistance. Panel edges are potted to prevent liquid/moisture ingression and preserve the useful life of the core. The inserts feature an upgraded construction to minimize pull out and shear damage.
