Comtek Incorporates Additional Precautionary Measures to Keep Our Workplace Safe

In recent weeks, we have seen an elevated concern over the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the situation remains an evolving challenge.

We recognize that this is a difficult time for the airline industry and for plane manufacturers and want to provide an update on the actions Comtek is taking to safeguard the health and well-being of our customers, our employees and our community. We have been closely monitoring the circumstances, including provincial and federal Health Authority sites for the most current information and advice. It is crucial that we act on the best and most current medical/safety information. Our obligation is to keep our workplace and community safe through company actions and employee precautionary measures, including:
  • Business Travel Restriction: All business travel is suspended
  • Visitor Restriction: In-person visitor meetings are suspended unless essential and with Sr. Management Approval
  • Enhanced Sanitation: In accordance with public safety guidelines, we have increased our level of cleaning and improved access to hand sanitizers available to our employees
  • Employee Assistance Program: Comtek employees are encouraged to access the program if feeling stressed or anxiety about these events
As of October 7, 2020, we have incorporated additional precautionary measures, including:
  • Tightly controlled building access
  • Enhanced screening with more rigorous daily self-assessments
  • Increased social distancing and masking measures

Comtek remains at full production capacity for all manufacturing and repair services

At this time, we do not foresee any constraints to our ability to meet promised delivery dates. We also do not foresee any imminent concerns with our ability to meet future lead/turn around times on new orders including AOG floor panel orders. We remain in close communication with our supply partners and, at this time, we don’t have any critical concerns.
